hello my lovelys

How is everyone? my has it been that long since I’ve posted? sorry my dears. I’ve been busy with school and lately I’m addicted to tumblr so a lot of my thoughts go there now and such.
but here I have returned! for a brief chat at least haha
so went to a horse show in March with Sparky after spring break and did the show on my own- and it went alright! a good first show of the season show- but he’s just not quite back in shape yet or having enough motion yet
however. I am moving all my finals and putting my academic life through hell so I can go to Region 12 which is exciting! because it will be the biggest show I’ll go to this year, which is bittersweet because it’s so soon and I’m almost positive Sparky won’t be in shape by then…but oh well.
If only it was later….
but we’re trying for Region 14 also for shows this summer.
sooo yeah. basically after Region 14 I’ve decided I just want to pull his show shoes immediately and just play hard with him in the last month and a half or so I’ll have left before school starts again.
not sure about shows after that….obviously if I wanna do 12 again next year I’ll have to figure out how to get qualifications..unless I decide to do a spring show again…I think we might be done going to the AL show but not sure….anywho.
I am hoping to take Sparky with my next year to school, I’ve decided not to transfer- hopefully this is the correct decision for me!
I pray it is.
but hopefully Spark could come or something…I dunno!
soo yeah saw the Hunger Games ! it was awesome. lol very awesome.
oh and Sparky and I now show costume, show hack, andddddd Sidesaddle! haha we’ve ridden sidesaddle under 10 times but yeah we do it now haha woo.
school is better this semester I’m in better classes and might have decided my majors! might add some minors later…who knows really I could go back and forth all day! lol I got a good best friend as my rooommate, a boyfriend, and more friends around- and I at least know more people this semester anyway…
I’m also going to a concert next week! so excited I’m going to two this month! should be super cool.

hey!

hey everyone sorry I’ve been gone for so long….but I’m back home from break and got Sparky back close to home.
Had a up and down with the AHA and USEF trying to move the youth age restriction up one but not sure when it will come into effect so it might not effect me.
hopefully getting jumping lessons this week….got some work boots for Christmas!!! but they didn’t fit…hopefully ill get ones that fit before breaks over- also got the Hunger games which I’m happily reading
not much going on really. gotta go work Spark tomorrow- he’s the hardest horse I’ve ever had if you believe it. getting an Arabian saddle seat show horse in shape by yourself is one of the hardest things ever. plus having a bond with the horse at the same time (others might do it by less interaction with your horse as an equal but I dont’ wanna do that)
You’ve never seen a famous horseman doing saddle seat have ya? that’s cause it’s so hard to stay on their side and train them- it’s a tough thing!

hahahaha yep. finally did that ninja move lol first fall off since like a year or two ago from Sparky! and before that like forever ago haha and first fall off a non-Arabian lol

I mean it’s not like I haven’t had a ton of fresh starts before with horses and schools and people

I guess some of what I’m trying to say is…well temporarily all those other arabian things and disciplines are gone and Stevie’s gone. and those were a huge part of me. Sparky….he means the world to me and he is always so difficult to ride and show- so hard but he still is a piece of me, and without him you realize how much. Nationals hurt me so much…..so much, leaving Stevie hurt me a lot, Leaving temporarily the some of the Arabian world and friends in it and old friends and family is hard.
I’m not giving up and I’m not saying everything is bad- I’m so grateful to get to go to college and have good friends here and I love life
I’m just saying strength is pain sometimes
